What to see in Bologna, in Piazza Maggiore, if not the Basilica of San Petronio, the fifth largest church in the world and one of the most beautiful works of the Gothic style in Italy. It took centuries to build it and today, majestic and imposing, it dominates the square with its facade, unfortunately never completed.
